There are two cypress board markers with no names. It has been suggested* that these mark the graves of Edward Weishuhn and his wife Louise (Koenig) Weishuhn. There are also 17 or 18 graves with mounds but no markers. *[His obit states that he is buried in the family cemetery on his farm]

Wilson Family Cemetery

Origin of name: after the surname of three of the four persons known to have been buried at the site
Source of name: Colorado County Deed Records, vol. 92, p. 451
Location: about 400 yards south of Schobel Road, about .4 miles west of its intersection with Brunes Mill Road, and about .9 miles west of the point where Brunes Mill Road intersects with FM 109

Comments: The single tombstone on the site, for Miss C. A. Regla, was once enclosed in a short iron fence that has mostly fallen down. There is another, considerably larger area on the site that was once enclosed by a picket fence, most of which has also fallen down. This area apparently is where at least three members of the Wilson family were buried. The Wilsons sold the land to John and Lillian Schobel. On August 17, 1933, John C. Wilson bought the cemetery back from the Schobels. The deed outlines a .32 acre tract which it calls "the Wilson Family Cemetery" (Colorado County Deed Records, vol. 92, p. 451). The name of this cemetery and the fact that the Wilsons were buried there were uncovered through research done by Kay Potter in 2008. Kevin Stinson, a Wilson descendant, adds the following: The Wilsons moved to Texas from Fleming Co., Kentucky around 1870. John Calhoun Wilson, born in Virginia, was a physician who had retired while still in Kentucky. His wife's father, Daniel Morgan, was a Kentucky state senator and plantation owner.
