County Line Methodist Church 

I received the following email from Deborah Smith. Dorothy: A few years ago I found a site that listed the pastors and members of the County Line Methodist church. The site was at www.ktc.net/doubletree/Methodist/Methodist.html and I believe it is "long gone" now. However here is the list: Pastors of County Line Methodist Church 1887 A G. I've had no contact with the Freemans. I'm almost certain Charles Sherman corresponded with me regarding this list. I also have a very bad picture of the church itself. I don't know if it's "kosher" to use this info without the Freeman's permission; however it was on the internet as any other site is. A couple of notes: Mohala Smith is almost certainly Mohala Hope Smith, wife of Asa Smith, sheriff of Colorado County, and mother of Rophila Smith, wife of John Wesley Rees. Georgia Weller is probably Georgia Houchins, daughter of G W and Sarah Rees Houchins. She married Charles Weller. R F Rees is probably Rophila F Smith Rees, wife of John Wesley Rees. Alice Rees was probably Alice Elliot, wife of Burrell Whittington Rees, a/k/b Richard Burrell Rees. Hope this info is of use. Deborah
