MRS. FANNIE FLETCHER
MRS. FANNIE FLETCHER SUCCUMBS DECEMBER 4
Mrs. Fannie Fletcher was born in Cass Co. Dec. 8, 1853,
died Dec 4, 1931, at the home of her daughter-in-law. Mrs. Kitty Fletcher.
She was the wife of Mr. Bud Fletcher one of the oldest and
most honored men of our community, he having died several years ago. She had
lived in Concho county since 1899 with the exception of a few years spent with a
son near Big Springs. She was a member of the Baptist church here- a good
christian, always fighting the good fight of faith. She was a loving mother and
was ready to go when the call came. To know her was to love her. We will miss
her and some day we will see her again to part no more.
Two sons survive her. Parks Fletcher of El Paso and Looney
Fletcher of Denton; several grand-children and her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Kitty
Fletcher.
Funeral services were held at the Baptist church by Rev. Dee
Grounds and the body laid to rest in the Millersview cemetery.
May the Holy Sprit comfort the hearts of the loved ones till
they meet in the land of the unsetting sun.
-One who knew her.
