Concho Woman Dies Saturday
Mrs. T. E. Warren of Eden Was An Early Day Resident
Paint Rock, Jan 5, Mrs. T. E. Warren 62, mother of W. E. Warren, former
sheriff of Concho County, died at his home here this afternoon of pneumonia. She
was brought here last week from her home in Eden.
Funeral services will be help Sunday Afternoon at Fort
McKavett at 2 o'clock. A Christian Church pastor will officiate. She will be
buried beside her husband, who died 17 years ago.
Mrs. Warren was born in Alabama May 5, 1871, and moved to
Texas with her family when she was nine years old. She was married about 46
years ago and nine years later moved to Fort McKavett. She has been making her
home in Eden for the past few years.
Survivors include four sons and one daughter. They are W. E.
Warren, Paint Rock; L. A. Warren, Carrizo Springs; Gordon Warren, Levelland;
Thad Warren, Freer, Texas, and Mrs. Annie Hill, El Paso. All will be present for
the services.
Other survivors include three brothers, W. W. Robertson,
Ontario, Calif.; Charles Robertson, San Francisco, and Jim Robertson, Hylton,
Texas, and three sisters, Mrs. J. W. Huffhines of Winters, Mrs. Clara Pierce of
Oklahoma City and Mrs. Ruth Henslee, Riddle, Oregon.
