NEGROES ALLOWED BOND ON
ASSAULT TO KILL CHARGES

Waive Examining Trials And Held to
Await Action of Grand
Jury

Bond in the sum of $500 each was allowed Ermon Arnold and James Weatherspoon, negroes, charged with assault with intent to kill, after they had waived examining trial at preliminary hearings before Judge Powers in justice precinct court No. 2 Thursday.

The negroes are held to await grand jury action in connection with wounding of Rufus Smith, another negro, in a shooting several days ago in the Alto Springs section of Falls county.
