       It seems that James Walton and Earle Manor have been rather friendly, watch your step, children.

       We believe that:
             Andy's true love is Frances.
             Jack Owens strings every girl a line except Eva.
             Lester is foot-loose and fancy-free.
             Charles Barclay is that way about Bitsy.

       It really happened:
             Dooley was at the dance with Joni Dell.
             Posh had a date Friday night.
             Mary Jo and Moree exchanged boy friends Sunday night.

       Last Heard:  Mary Jo asked Dooley to go steady.

       Have they forgotten so soon:
             Bill Dunkum--Charlotte H.
             Mary Jo--Andy.
             Bitsy--Bill Hunnicutt.
             Edward Lee--Rosalie W.

       Did you studes notice what a romantic couple Gladys Taylor and "James" Hagler make?  Or didn't you notice them friday night at the
football game.

       We think Andy ought to let his hair grow long.--After all he's going to start playing the violin (That's what Bill W. told us).  It doesn't look to us like a Stradivarius, though.  Maybe they are waiting to see if he will be another Rubinoff.

       Monday was a day of casualities Bill Dunkum appeared Tuesday with a broken nose, and Dorothy Lill with a patch on her eye.  My, what rough lives some people lead!

       Why do Nick and Emily Ann like to help each other in solid geometry?

***

       Why was Jackie C. so downhearted when Mrs. Kendrick made her dance with Charles Dowis and let Frank Cobb dance with a senior girl?

       Is James Hagler still that way about Ebby Pauling?  We bet he is!

***

       We wonder if Betty Rose is sleepy in the presence of Edmund Pharis.  At least she looks at him in a dreamy way.

       There'll be no love lost between Horace G. and Glenn from now on. They are both attracted to Moree.

       Seen last week-end!  Joe Bob and Joni Dell -- Bitsy and Bill Waldo -- Dorothy Lil and Bill Hunnicutt -- Mary Jo and L. B.--Agnes, and Bob--Merlene Pointer and Wilton Anderson.

       Perhaps you missed the familiar faces of Glenn and Jack Owen over the week-end.  They were visiting on a ranch.

       Is it true that LaVerne Reed is Billy Garrett's girl of long ago?  All we know is what we hear and Billy says so.  What about Rowan, La Verne?

       Virginia Barber has a feller at A. & M. At least she thinks so anyway.

       Who is Katherine Campbell's secret love?  A hint is "he is a junior and on the football team."

       Alas, poor Agnes.  She spilled bromine on her arm and was rescued by "Fess" who mopped her with ammonia.  When she felt another burning sensaton, Agnes decided to help herself and tried first aid with hydrochloric acid!

       Walter Glockzin is wearing two shoes now.  We are very glad to be seeing you without your crutches Walter.

       Have you read "Seventeen"?  Once Catheryn, Katherine, and Bitsy tried to dramatize this interesting story but their attempts at play production fell short when they could find no boy willing to be Willie Baxter Wonder why?

       No doubt you've heard about "The Laughing Boy" and "The Golden Boy" but have you heard about the "Persimmon boy"?  It seems that Glenn acquired that title last weekend when he went with Jack Owen to the Hordesty Ranch.

       There will be no "Bulldog" Saturday--since we have a holiday Friday.
