From the 1850 and 1860 US Federal Census, Julia A. Currie (also at the Carolina Cemetery) is David M Currie's mother.  His father was James Currie, and he appears on the 1850 US Census in Caswell, NC, but not on the 1860 US Census in Colorado, TX.  I'm guessing that James died in Colorado, TX. just prior to the census.

He served in the Confederate Army, Company  "I", 1st Georgia Cavalry for about 3 years. 

He and his family move to Texas March 1880.

He died in Falls County, June 13, 1889.

His daughter Sarah Eugenia Hamilton was my Grandmother, called "Sallie" Dickson. She is buried in Falkenberry Cemetery in Groesbeck.
