COUNTY SCHOOL NOTES.
------
By A. W. E.
J. E.
Greenberry and Miss Ida Ryan are having a very successful school at Otto.
The
order, attractiveness and work of Hog Island school, with Miss Flays Ford, is
excellent.
F. J.
Turner is doing some fine school work at Alto Springs. Some excellent
maps made by the pupils were on exhibition. The work surpasses one with
the clearness and thoroughness with which, it is done.
Miss
Mabel Hearne has made decided improvement at Bolona since the first
visit. Order, appearance and work are much better, and everything is
moving nicely.
Miss Ella
Moorehead is keeping her work at McCaleb fully up to the standard. The
drills in marking letters were especially good.
Miss Emma
Taylor has closed her term at Live Oak and gone to her new home at Stamford.
G. C.
Woodson has resigned as principal at Travis and the term will be finished by
Mesdames Rhoda Davidson and Letha Riggs.
Measles
have so interferred with the attendance at Stranger and Union that the teachers
were compelled to suspend for a week or two.
NOTICE, TRUSTEES.
The
papers to take the census are now in the county superintendent's office.
Please call or send for them.
