DUPLICATE CROSSES WILL BE SUPPLIED.

    Gen. Stephen D. Lee, commanding the United Confederate veterans, has issued an order, notifying all Confederate soldiers who have lost or broken their cresses, (sic) that they will be supplied with duplicates.  The duplicates will be supplied from the same source as the originals--the United Daughters of Confederacy.  Full particulars as to the course to take to get a new cross can be had by applying to the nearest chapter of U.D.C.

    Gen. Lee adds:  "The general Commanding cannot find words to express for himself personally and for his beloved comrades the sense of appreciation felt by all at this action, which is but a fresh evidence of love and consideration which the women of the south have ever manifested.
