GRAND JURY RECONVENES
ACCOUNT OF JAIL CASES

Navasota Judge Exchanges Benches
With Falls County District
Judge.

       The Falls county grand jury for the May term of district court reconvened in Marlin today to consider matters that have accumulated since its last session.
       The grand jury was recalled principally on account of some defendants in jail and unalbe to make bond pending action on complaints against them, who would otherwise have had to wait until the last week in August to learn whether or not they would be indicted, it was stated.
       The grand jury reconvened with Judge S. W. Dean of Navasota presiding, having exchanged benches for the week with Judge E. M. Dodson of Falls county district court who is holding court this week at Anderson in some cases in which Judge Dean stated he was disqualified.
