CONSTABLE CHARGES MAN
WITH THEFT OF HORSES

Both Animals Have been Recovered--
Prisoner is Place

       (Beginning of this article missing) ..said to have told offic(ers) that he is part Indian and part negro, was placed in the county jail following his return Sunday in charge of Constable C. C. Wren, who secured the prisoner at Groesbeeck.
       Both of the horses have been recovered.  One is alleged to have been stolen at Lott during the carnival in that city shortly after Christmas.  The other is said to have been taken from a negro's place on Mrs. B. C. Clark's farm at Clarkville.  Other developments are expected in the case.
       In the examining trial in justice court shortly before noon Monday, Ross was granted bond in the sum of $500 to await the action of the grand jury on two charges of horse theft.
