MARLIN
Marlin.--Marlin enjoyed a very pretty Christmas with beautiful weather.
Everyone seemed to have the proper spirit. Davis Cox, I. C. Desroe,
Harold McGlascow, Albert Soders, James Soders, were home for Christmas after
spending a few months in Prairie View College. Misses Buetta Winn and
Mary Agnes Bell were home from Samuel Huston College. Mrs. A. E. S.
Johnson gave a party Christmas night which was enjoyed by all. Parties
were given galore and every one seemingly enjoyed seeing the visitors back
home. F. M. Nelson spent Christmas in Corsicana. Dr. E. R. Nelson
is on the sick list again. Christmas trees were at all the
churches. Services were well attended at all of the churches
Sunday. Misses Octavia Smith and Corinthia Ladd were also home Christmas.--Harry
Nelson, Reporter.
