MARLIN

       Marlin.--Attendance at the Marlin Baptist Church was very good Sunday.  The spirit ran high in the Sunday school.  The morning discourse was centered on "Christ the Author of the Resurrection."  At 2:30 the funeral service of Master John (Sonny) Moore was conducted by Pastor Jackson.  The B. Y. P. U. rendered a very high spirited program on the subject, "Missions."  The evening service was indeed helpful, with a beautiful treatise on "Christian Sacrifice."  Two additions were made to the church.  Services were well attended at the other churches.  The sick list includes Mmes. White and Mattie Geralds, Richard Lee Zepher, Mary Frances Nelson and Allie Mathis.  Read The Houston Informer.--Harry Nelson, Reporter.
