Stewart / Turner Family & Friends
Page 2
The following photos were part of the collection of the late Minnie (Turner) Stewart and her husband, James Arthur Stewart, longtime residents of the Cego & Blevins, Texas area. Most of these photos are probably connected to the Stewart or Turner lines, but there may be some that are pictures taken of friends from the Falls County, Texas area. Assistance in identifying the people in these photos will be greatly appreciated.

School class photo. (Notice that there are no women in the photo). I believe that person seated in the front row, second from the left, may be Felix J. Turner, so this may have been a photo taken when he was in college in late 1890's or early 1900's. He attended Grandbury College and also University of Texas, at Austin.

Family photo. (Poor quality). The man in this photo bears a resemblance to my great-grandfather, S. E. J. Turner. It is possible this could have been a picture taken of a Turner family relative and sent to my great-grandfather many years ago. I have not been able to match it up to any other known Turner relative. -rlh

Partial Family photo. (Poor quality). The left half of this photo has been lost. The woman holding the child, in the bottom right corner of this photo, bears a strong resemblance to my great-grandmother, Ann Josephine (Lee) Turner. There may be a chance this is a picture of a Lee relative taken with their family.
