AFTER JURY GETS CASE
Answers to Special Issues Submitted
by Court to Jurors
Returned.
A verdict was reached by the jury soon after it received the case of Mrs. W. H.
Gates et vir vs. Milam County Mutual Life & Accident Association, suit on
an insurance policy not to exceed $1000 on the life of Mrs. Rebecca Ann Cooley,
who died May 29, tried in Falls county district court Thursday.
Members of the jury are J. T. Haak, N. B.
Peevey, Hugh Stanley, A. J. Ray, E. R. McIntosh, D. C. Asbury, Brit Hester, L.
E. Haug, Ed Winter, R. L. McElroy, Bradley Hodges, Ed Schiller.
Special Issues Answered.
Answers to special issues were returned by the jury Thursday night, holding
that age and health of deceased were not misrepresented, while in response to
the question as to whether or not deceased was found not be in good health, the
reply was negative. The matter of the judgement will be determined by the
court.
