CHRISTI GAYLE (SPARKS) ABEL
January 18, 1978 - December 1, 2007

Christi Gayle Abel was born in DeLeon, Texas on January 18, 1978 to Peggy and Johnny Sparks and passed away on Saturday, December 1, 2007 at the age of 29 years.

Christi was a wonderful wife, mother and friend. She was a fulltime student at Texas State University. She is survived by her husband, Larry Abel, whom she married on February 7, 1999.

She is also survived by two sons: Austin Aaron Abel, eight-years-old, and Luke Reed Abel, four-years-old; mother: Peggy Sparks of Stephenville; brothers: Robert Sparks of Stephenville, Jeffrey Sparks of Springtown, Johnny Sparks of Stephenville and Jimmy Sparks of Stephenville.

Visitation took place at the Zoeller Funeral Home on Monday evening from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. and services were held on Tuesday, December 4 at the Oakwood Baptist Church in New Braunfels. Interment followed in the Perry United Methodist Cemetery, just outside of Marlin.
