Jessie
Isaac Chane, 92, of Marlin, entered into rest on Wednesday, March 23, 2005.
Services were held Friday, March 25, 2005 at Adams Funeral Home Chapel with
Elder Arthur Allen and Rev. Joel Davilla officiating. Burial followed in
Marlin's Hillcrest Cemetery.
Mr. Chane was born on June 4, 1912
in Robertson County, the son of Arthur and Alice Hewitt Chane. He was retired
from the Falls County Road and Bridge Department, a life long resident of the
Marlin area and a member of the Marlin Remnant Church of Jesus Christ of Latter
Day Saints. His parents, four sisters and four brothers preceded him in death.
He was a loyal Democrat; he loved to visit with his children and grandchildren,
loved horses and was known for his wonderful sense of humor.
Survivors include his wife, Lula
Belle Chane of Marlin; daughter, Sandra Ross and husband Guy of Winona, TX;
son, Alvin Chane and wife Jessica of Bremond; brother, Robert Chane and wife
Faye of Marlin; sister, Willie Mae Stackowiak of Houston;
Five grandchildren and four
great-grandchildren
Pallbearers were Jason Chane,
Michael Chane, Aaron Shepperd, Kevin Pace, Raymond Hudson and Brad Chane.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may
be made to the Marlin Remnant Church, 204 Live Oak, Marlin, TX 76661.
Adams Funeral Home in Marlin was in
charge of arrangements.
