Funeral services for Sam Cheeves, age 24 years, a nephew of T.A. Cheeves, Sr., of Marlin were held at Cameron at 10 a.m. Wednesday, last rites being conducted in the First Methodist church there with burial in the Cameron cemetery. He had been in ill health for some time.

Deceased was preceded in death by his father about three months ago. He is survived by his mother, a brother and three sisters.

Attending the funeral from Marlin were Mr. and Mrs. T.A. Cheeves, Sr., Mr. and Mrs. T. A. Cheeves, Jr. and Mrs. H.B. Broadfoot.
