Mildred Elizabeth Climer

     Mildred Elizabeth Climer, 82, passed away Sunday, March 10, 1996 in a Waco hospital.

     Services were held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 12, at the Mart Church of Christ with Mr. Travis Smith and Mr. Richard Williams officiating.  Burial was at Criswell Cemetery.

     Mrs. Climer was born February 5, 1914, to Thomas G. and Elsie P. Walker Wright near Bryan.  She was a dedicated housewife and worked for a drugstore before retiring.  She moved to Marlin in 1951.  She was a member of the Church of Christ in Mart.

     She was preceded in death by her first husband, G. B. Stone in January 1960.  She later married Mr. J. G. Climer who also preceded her in death.

     Survivors include her son, Charles Stone of Riesel; her daughter, Gilynn Stone Bucy of Mart; six grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.

     Pallbearers were Billy K. Stone, James R. Stone, George H. Stone, Paul Woolverton, G. Z. Stone, W. N. Stone, Michael Milnes, and Ronald Stone.

     Adams Funeral Home in Marlin was in charge of arrangements.
