John G. Haak
MARLIN – John G. Haak, 87, of Marlin, a retired farmer and rancher, died Friday at a Dallas hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Adams Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Hillcrest Cemetery.
Mr. Haak was born Feb. 29, 1896, in Caldwell. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War I. He was married to Edna Mae Holt in 1924. He was a longtime member of McClanahan Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs. E. C. Lackey of Tatum, N.M.; two brothers, Albert Haak of Marlin and Bill Haak of Waco; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
