Willie Mae Hardcastle

Willie Mae Hardcastle, 89, of Chilton, died Tuesday, March 23, 1999, in Waco. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday, March 26 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with the Rev. Marion Ford officiating. Burial will be at Cego Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Hardcastle was born Jan. 1, 1910, in Falls County where she attended schools. She married Fred Hardcastle on Feb. 2, 1928, in Falls County. He preceded her in death on May 19, 1981. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Chilton.

Survivors include a son, Billy Hardcastle and wife Kathryn of Woodway; a sister, Bessie Lancaster of Temple; a brother, Harvey Pace of Moody; two grandchildren, Sharon Benson of China Spring and Michael Hardcastle of Cypress; and five great-grandchildren, Brian, Eric and Chad Benson and Rachael and Nathan Hardcastle.

Pallbearers will be Charlie Hobbs, Tom Benson, Phil Barnhill, Fred Blanchard, Thomas Herrington and Grady Redden.

Memorials may be made to the charity of choice.
