Death has claimed another respected and honorable citizen of
Falls county in Mr. C. F. Haug, who passed away at his home
Thursday evening at 9:15.
Deceased had been in poor health for many years, but was not
dangerously ill for more than a week. His trouble was rheumatism,
which finally reached the heart, producing death. He was
conscious to within a very short time of his demise, recognizing
and conversing with the members of his family. He leaves three
daughters, Mesdames R. Moser, A. Ernst and D. Adam, the six sons
who are Otto, Richard, Fred, George, and Herbert Haug.
Mr. Gaug was a native of Germany, coming to the United States
when a young man. He resided in Illinois and Iowa for several
years before coming to Texas. He lived near Perry for twenty-five
years and he moved to Marlin about three years ago.
He was 69 years of age, a consistent member of the German M. E.
church, and a man of exemplary character, fair and generous in
his dealings with his fellow man.
Interment will take place Saturday morning on the family burial
lot at Perry.

Funeral infomation--HAUG
Surnames: HAUG, BAUCHLE, SCHMALZ
The remains of Mr. C. F. Haug, who died Thursday night, were
interred in the cemetery at Stamp at 10:30 today.
The funeral was attended by a large number of friends and
neighbors of deceased.
Impressive services were conducted by Rev. Baucle, pastor of the
German M. E. curch in Marlin, assisted by Revs Schmalz of Stamp
and Witt of Riesel.
