MRS. ETHEL E. HERRINGTON

Mrs. Ethel E. Herrington, 89, of 1908 Connor in Waco, died at the home of her daughter in Waco, Saturday afternoon, March 8.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Monday at Adams Funeral Home with burial in Cego Cemetery. The Rev. Charles McAfee officated.

She is survived by two sons, Otis E. Herrington of Golinda and E. W. (Gene) Herrington of Marlin; one daughter, Mrs. Mabel Miller of Waco; six grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Herrington was born Sept. 15, 1890 at San Marcos in Hays County, the daughter of the late William Jackson and Amanda Warrner Jackson. The family moved to Cego in Falls County in 1900. On March 7, 1906, she was married to Eddie J. Herrington and the couple resided at Cego until moving to Waco in 1966. Her husband died May 17, 1967.

She was a member of the Robinson Drive United Methodist Church in Waco.

Grandsons were pallbearers.
