Robert George Kluck

October 1, 1921 - May 8, 2007

Robert George Kluck, 85, of Marlin entered into rest Tuesday, May 8, 2007.

Services were held Thursday, May 10 at Adams Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Phillips officiating. Burial followed at Hillcrest Cemetery. The family received friends last Wednesday evening at Adams Funeral Home.

Mr. Kluck was born October 1, 1921 in Otto, Texas to Julius Herman and Lydia Kunkel Kluck. He married Della Sielaff August 10, 1947.  He was a member and Trustee of the Grace Lutheran Church, a veteran of the United States Army, and served in the National Guard for over 20 years and was a member and current commander of Disabled American Veterans and a member of the Veteran of Foreign Wars.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Della in 2001; grandson Jonathan Sanders in 1984; a brother, Harding Kluck in 2004; and two sisters, Adelle Kluck in 1972 and Ruby Kluck in 1997

Survivors include his son David Kluck of Marlin; his daughter, Rebecca Sanders and husband Michael of Hillsboro; and sister-in-law Martha Kluck of Marlin.

Memorials may be made to the Providence Hospice or to the Grace Lutheran Church of Marlin.

Pallbearers were Charles Ray Evans, Charlie Kluck, Ernest Kluck, James Haak, Jimmy Drews and Keith Drews. Honorary Pallbearers are members of the DAV.
