W. M. LEMM DIES
Death Was Caused By Inju-
juries Received While
in Playful Scuffle
Last Friday.
W. M. Lemm, proprietor of the Germania hotel, died Sunday afternoon at 3
o'clock from injuries received Friday afternoon. His death was caused by
a rupture while he was scuffling over a hose with a small boy in front of
Schimming & Eddins. The boy was throwing water on him and while he
was getting ouf the way he slipped and fell on the sidewalk.
No one was to blame as they were both playing at the time.
Medical attention was given at once, but
to no avail.
He leaves a widow an two children.
The body was carried to Brenham last night for interment.
