Mrs. Luedke’s Funeral Today

     OTTO  (SPL) -- Mrs. Will (Mary) Luedke, 77 of Otto, sister of a Wacoan, died early Wednesday in a Temple Hospital.

     Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at St. John’s United Church of Christ of Otto, with Rev. Al Schwecke officiating.  Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery.

     Mrs. Luedke was born at Otto and lived in and around the community all her life.  She was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ.  Her husband, Will Luedke, died Dec. 23, 1965.

     Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Henry Haase of Otto; one son Edmond Luedke of Houston; one brother Walter Hommel of 3215 Cole, two sisters, Mrs. Walter Ludwig of Riesel and Mrs. Sam Hill of Houston; and two grandchildren.

Note: The tombstone of Will Luedke reads his date of death was December 22, 1965. I am not sure which date is correct being tombstones and newpapers both have been known to be wrong sometimes. If you can help out with this, please let Kay know.
