John Lee LaFrance
January 24, 1955 – September 17, 2007

John Lee LaFrance, 52, of Robinson, died September 17, 2007 at his residence.

Services were held Thursday at Pecan Grove Funeral Home in Waco with the Rev. Marvin Donnell officiating. Burial was in Waco Memorial Park.

John LaFrance was born January 24, 1955, in Ludwigburg, Germany. He was a graduate of Richfield High School, class of 1973. He excelled in football and baseball. He worked for Consolidate Freight from 1983 to 2002. He coached his four boys when they were growing up in baseball and football.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Johanna Bach of Germany; and his adopted parents, Walter and Barbara LaFrance of Waco.

He is survived by his sons, Steven Gilmore of Golinda, Tyler LaFrance of Durango, John LaFrance of Rosenthal and Robert LaFrance of Robinson; daughter-in-law, Rose Gilmore of Golinda; a granddaughter; and a cousin, John Pierce of Chilton.
