AGED MAN'S SUDDEN DEATH.
While seated on one of the benches
near the public well Wednesday afternoon J. R. Marr dropped dead.
The cause of the sudden termination of the thread of
life was dropsy of the heart from which he had suffered for quite awhile.
Deceased was 57 years of age and unmarried. He was a
thrifty farmer living near Heidenheimer in Bell county. He came here on April
11 for his health, but owing, to the nature of his malady received no benefit
from the baths and had not taken one in sometime before his death.
The remains were prepared for interment and were
shipped to his home this morning.
