Services for Willie Maude Hunter Moore, 77, of Marlin were held Wednesday,
March 18, 1998.
Mrs. Moore was born in Lott to Robert
Jefferson and Loretta Britt on January 1, 1921. She died at her residence
Monday March 16, 1998.
She was a Sunday school teacher for 10
years and a member of Trinity Memorial Baptist Church. She worked at
Torbett-Hutchins-Smith Memorial Hospital in the food service department.
Mrs. Moore was raised in Lott and moved to
Marlin and married Harold Harlan Hunter March 23, 1939 in Reisel. He died
July 8, 1972 in Marlin.
She married Tom Moore July 3, 1974 in
Marlin.
She is survived by her husand Tom Moore of
Marlin; a son Bruce Harlan Hunter and wife Susan of Austin; step-daughters
Alice Gould of Rockspring, WY., Joyce Kellog of Cypress and Shirley Stasey of
Austin; brothers James Lonnie Britt of Boston, MA, Marvin Britt of Marlin; a
sister Doris Mae Clem of Marlin; 19 neices (sic) and nephews; three
grandchildren and six step-grandchildren.
Adams Funeral Home was in charge of
arrangements.
The Rev. Andy Bratcher officiated.
Burial was in Hillcrest Cemetery.
