MERCHANT DIES AT CEGO

 

FUNERAL OF CLARENCE MUCKLEROY HELD AT

CEMETERY IN EDDY

 

The death of Clarence Muckleroy, well-known Cego merchant, occurred this week, states Louis Williams, Falls County deputy tax collector, who, with his wife, attended the funeral at Eddy.  Mr. Williams was formerly a business associate of deceased before coming to Marlin.

 

Deceased was only 29 years of age, having married Miss Annie Hodges about two years ago. He was born and reared in Eddy, becoming engaged in the mercantile business at Cego some four years ago.

 

Internment took place from the home of the dead man’s father Tuesday afternoon, services being conducted by Rev. J. M. Dawson of Waco and Rev. Armstrong of Eddy.

 

Surviving deceased are his wife and parents, also two brothers, Ed and Emory Muckleroy. Mr. Muckleroy possessed many friends who sympathize with the family in their bereavement.
