OENAVILLE CITIZEN DIES
J. H. McGlaun, Old and Respected
Resident Passes Away After Short
Illness Is Buried Sunday
Oenaville, Tex.,--Jan. 6--J.
H. McGlaun, aged 68, an old settler and a respected citizen of Oenaville, was
buried here this afternoon. His death occurred Saturday night shortly after
midnight, following a short illness.
Rev. Garner of the First
Baptist Church conducted the funeral service which was held at the residence at
3 o’clock. A wife and six children survive the deceased. Mrs. Wiley Hill, a
daughter, and a son, W. K. McGlaun, both living at Temple, and two daughters,
Misses Ione and Vermeile, who were teaching at Salado, came home for the
funeral. The wife and two small children were at the bedside of the deceased at
the time of his death.
