Funeral Services Held For Former Rosebud Man

Buried in Powers Chapel Cemetery Following His Death at Midland

The funeral of Frank Parks, age 22, former Rosebud resident, who died early this week at Midland, was held Wednesday afternoon with burial in Powers Chapel cemetery. Deceased had undergone an appendicitis operation, his demise following an illness of about five weeks.
Last rites were conducted in the Powers Chapel tabernacle by Rev. Harrison and Rev. Williams, Baptist ministers.
Born and reared near Rosebud, deceased attended Rosebud High school where he captained the football team and later attended A. and M. College of Texas. He was married to Miss Vivian Chapman of Travis and had been employ of a lumber company in New Mexico and West Texas.
Surviving are his wife, his father and other relatives.
