Services for Mary W. Piper 96, of Harker Heights will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, at Cook- Greengross-Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Rosebud with the Rev. Sharon Bell officiating burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Rosebud.

She died Thursday January 26, 2006 in a Harker Heights nursing center.

Mrs. Piper was born in Forney to Solon and Virginia (Pinson) Fleming. She lived in Rosebud more than 60 years. She was a school teacher and was retired from Belfalls Electric Corp. She married Wendell Wright, who preceded her in death and David Lloyd Piper who also preceded her in death. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in rosebud. Survivors are a son, Ralph Wright of Copperas Cove; a stepdaughter, Dr. Barbara Uzell of Pearland; a brother Daniel Fleming of Temple and a grandchild.

Visitation will be at 3-5p.m. today at the Funeral Home.
