Joseph Roberts’ Rites Pending



     Funeral arrangements for Joseph Roberts, 73, of 1117 Nealton Street in Bellmead remained incomplete today at Connally Funeral Home.
     
     Mr. Roberts died in a local hospital at 9:09 p.m. Sunday.
     
     He was born in Montreal, Canada, March 11, 1891.  He lived in Marlin before moving to the Waco area in 1930.  He was a retired carpenter and was a member of the Bellmead Volunteer Fire Department for 10 years.
     
     He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Olga Roberts, five sons, James L. Roberts of 1212 Nealton, Joe M. Roberts of 1912 South Fourteenth Street, Jimmy Roberts of 109 South Lakeview Drive, Albert Roberts of 1109 Nealton and Jerry W. Roberts with the U. S. Air Force in France; four daughters, Mrs. Harvey L. Cantrell of Fort Worth, Mrs. Ralph Aston of Wichita Falls, Mrs. Otto Michalwicz of Lott and Mrs. H. S. Witt of Gholson; one brother, Armond Roberts of Montreal, Canada; two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Gognon and Mrs. Geraldine Buchamp; both of Montreal; 25 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

     Joseph Robert, 73, of 1117 Nealton Street in Bellmead died in a local hospital at 9:09 p.m. Sunday.
     
     Services will be held at 12 noon Thursday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.  Father Joseph Walsh.  Burial in Calvary Cemetery in Marlin.
     
     Rosary will be at 8 p.m. Wednesday in Connally Chapel.
     
     He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Olga Roberts; five sons, James L. Roberts of 1212 Nealton, Joe M.
