ROGAS, GUS SR.

 

     Gus Rogas Sr., 81, died suddenly at his home, Route 2, Lorena, at 4:30 a.m. Wednesday.

 

     Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at St. John's Evangelical Church at Robinson, Rev. Carl Kluge officiating. Burial in Cego Cemetery.

 

     Survivors: His widow of Lorena; five sons, Albert Rogas of Marlin, Gus Rogas, Otto Rogas, and August Rogas, all of Route 2, Lorena, and Rudolph Rogas of Waco; seven daughters, Mrs. Louise Zettler, Mrs. Bertha West, Mrs. Annie Stroud and Mrs. Lydia Grossman, all of Waco, Mrs. Martha Gorgas of Riesel, Mrs. Pauline Maricle and Mrs. Selma Johnson, both of Lorena; 22 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

 

     Active pallbearers: E. W. Schaake, W. T. Miller, W. H. Niesen, Max H. Behnke, A. A. Miller and J. W. Frosch.
