At one to-day Col. Henderson Travis, who had been ill for several months, breathed his last.

He was born in 1842 and had resided in this section for many years. He was a Confederate veteran.

His daughter, Mrs. L. Wellenback and husband from South Texas came in this morning. Other children were also present at his death bed.

The funeral will take place from the late residence west of the court house tomorrow at 4 o'clock.
