REGINALD RICE TAYLOR

The Rev. Reginald Taylor, 82 of San Antonio died June 12 at his home.  Services were held at 1 p.m. on Monday at the Harper-Talasek Funeral Chapel.  Graveside service was held at 3 p.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery in Marlin.

Taylor was born on March 23, 1910 in Marlin, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ben Taylor.

Taylor was an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God for more than 50 years.  He pastored in Waco, Temple, Beaumont and Harlingen.  He was a Presbyter of the Valley Section for a number of years.

Survivors include wife, Clara Tull Taylor; two sons, James Taylor of San Antonio and David Taylor of Lake Jackson; two sisters, Ramona Ramby and Rose Evelyn Taylor of Marlin; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
