Bobby L. Tays, 51, of Marlin, died Friday in a Temple hospital.
Funeral services will be Monday at Adams Funeral Home with the Rev. Richard Hume officiating. The hour of the funeral had not been designated at press time. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
Mr. Tays was born Jan. 23, 1936 at Roswell, New Mexico. On July 2, 1971, he was married to the former Geraldine Bohn Bates in Marlin. During most of his adult life, he engaged in the automabile business for several years, he owned and operated Bobby's Auto Supply in Marlin. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Marlin.
Survivors are his wife; a son, Jackie Lee Tays and a step-son, Mark Tays, all of Marlin; his father, Jack C. Tays and a brother, W.C. Tays, both of Roswell, New Mexico; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services for Bobby L. Tays of Marlin were at 11 a.m. today at Adams Funeral Home. The Rev. Richard Hume officiated. Burial was at Hillcrest Cemetery.
Mrs. Tays, 51, died Friday at a hospital in Temple.
Pallbearers were David Jobe, Bobby Charlton Sr., Floyd Fulton, Joe Contella, Paul Huber, Lloyd Fulton and Walter Behringer.
