Walts, Elenora Lee

     Elenora Lee Walts, age 74, died October 1, 1996, at her residence.  Funeral service at 3 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3 at Blair-Stubbs Chapel, Thornton with Rev. Danny Lane and Rev. Gene B. Grace officiating.  Private graveside services will be held following services at Criswell Cemetery.

     She was born June 9, 1922, in Donie, Texas.  She was a homemaker, a seamstress and a member of Assembly of God Church.

     Survivors include husband, Jesse Cardell Walts of Lake Limestone, Texas; three daughters, Grace Roderick of Clinton, Maine, Deborah Robinson of Navasota and Jessie Young of Waco; three sons, James Walts of Lowel, Arkansas, Michael Walts of Lacy Lakeview, Kenneth Walts of Waco; four sisters, Etta Vest of Clyde, Mondell Cooper of Mart, Juanita Dowling of Marquez, Pauline McCaleb of McGregor; three brothers, Rufus Ellis of Lake Limestone, Kenneth Ellis of Mart, John Ellis of Red Oak; grandchildren, JoAnn Poirier, Charles and Billy Roderick, Karen and Pamela King, Kenna Horton, David Hutsonpillar, Scotty Farris, Barbara Reasoner, Travis Walts, Stefanie Szanto, Shannon Walts, Kimberly Louthan, Katherine Robinson, Nathan Robinson, Samuel Robinson and Joseph Robinson; great-grandchildren, Justin Poirier, MacKenzie Poirier, Erika and Emily Roderick, Jessica Horton, Alexandria Horton, Samantha Robinson, Kristen Reasoner; special relatives, James Queener, Brenda Alcorn; son-in-laws, Everett Roderick (deceased), Gaylon Young, Sam Robinson; daughters-in-law, Mary Walts, Stephanie Walts.

     She was preceded in death by two sisters, Irene Chamness and Lorene Ellis, and by a brother, Emery Ellis.

     Pallbearers are grandsons.  Honorary pallbearer, Doyle Broxton.
