RICE WARD DIES AT AGE OF FIFTY
At 2:05 this afternoon William Rice Ward died at his rooms in the
office builting of Dr. B. G. Ward on Coleman street after an
acute illness of several days.
Deceased was 50 years of age and had resided in Marlin all of his
life. He is the brother of ex-Sheriff Ward, S. S. Ward, Frank
Ward, Mrs. H. C. Crawford of New Orleans, Mrs, Rhonda Parnell and
Mrs. S. R. Scott of Waco.
Funeral arrangements are held in abeyance until the arrival of
Mrs Crawford, who is expected to arrive this afternoon.
