Nancy Davila Martinez
March 28, 1920 - April 27, 2008

     Nancy Davila Martinez 88, of Marlin, entered into rest Sunday, April 27, 2008 at her home surrounded by family.

     Ms. Martinez was born March 28, 1920 in Calvert, and lived most of her life in Marlin. She retired as a turkey plant worker. Mrs. Martinez was a member of Spanish Assembly of God Church on Foster Street and she, along with her late husband Albert Martinez Sr., helped build the church where she was very devoted to not only her church, but to God.

     Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, May 1, 2008 at the Spanish Assembly of God Church with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery in Marlin.

     Viewing and prayer services will be from 6 - 9 p.m. Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at Adams Funeral Home Chapel.

     Survivors include her son, Albert Martinez Jr. of Marlin; daughter, Hortencia and husband Sam Moore P.A. of Marlin; two brothers, Manuel and wife Mote Davila of Dallas, Paul and wife Mary Davila of Waco; six grand children, five great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

     Mrs. Nancy Martinez lived her life to the fullest. Never thinking of herself but always helping others. She loved and adored God, church, family and her friends.
