Peggy Lou (Herring) McEniry
April 26th, 1933 ~ September 20th, 2008

Peggy Lou McEniry was born in Lott, Texas on the 26th of April 1933.

The family had been living in Wichita Kansas and when the birth was drawing near her father, Robert Worley Herring, loaded her mother, Peggy Taylor (maiden name), into a car and drove down to Texas so that his first-born would be born a Texan.

Peggy Lou was raised in Kansas and upon graduation went to work for Boeing.

She met and married Kearney Givens Robinson. Kearney was transferred to Seattle.

They had three children; Debi Lynn, Kearney Woodson and Erik Lee. Peggy Lou received motherly recognition earning a "Mother of the Year" award. Sadly, Kearney suffered a fatal heart attack at the age of 48.

Peggy later met and eventually married James Michael McEniry and brought his two children, Scott Michael and Katherine Dale, into her home. Peggy and Michael enjoyed 35 years of happiness together.

She loved to garden, caring for her family and friends even taking in strays (both animals and people). She was very artistic, creating gifts and art for her home. Peggy Lou passed away Saturday evening with her children and husband by her side.
