Minerva Rosetta Bacon Swan

1914 or 1915 – February 5, 2006

ROSEBUD – Services for Minerva Rosetta Swan, 91, of Rosebud will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Bluebonnet Cemetery near Rosebud with the Rev. Anthony Chaney officiating.

She died Sunday, February 5, 2006 in a Temple hospital.

Mrs. Swan was born in Lee County to Lonnie and Lucy (Filmore) Bacon. She lived in Austin most of her life and moved to Rosebud in 1990. She was a member of St. Paul Baptist Church in Austin.

Survivors are a daughter, V. Ella Sephus of Rosebud; a grandchild; nine great grandchildren; and 14 great-great grandchildren.

Viewing will be 1-6 p.m. today at Cook-Gerngross-Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Rosebud.
