It became known in the city Friday that W. D. Dillard, one of Marlin's most popular young men, had married last Saturday night in Dallas, his bride being Mrs. E. D. Quince of that city.  Dorsey returned to Marlin Monday and told several of his friends of his important transaction, but they thought the was only jesting.  It was only after he had produced a clipping from the Dallas News, publishing the marriage licenses, that his friends became convinced, and have since been busy extending congratulations.
