Medicine Mound, Texas - Population Zero
Help Save the Old Cole Building!

For a glimpse at our rural roots - that special era from the early 1900's to the 1950's when the family farm was an integral part of the American experience. Hardeman County had long been predominantly Native American country, and was the last county in Texas to be settled by outsiders. Life on the frontier was never easy, and most folks toiled very hard to make ends meet. There are plenty of tales to tell, so be sure to check out the stories page. Myna Potts is doing things there that might be interesting to some folks.
