Hunt County Communities, Cities and Towns
During its over 150 year history, over
100 communities have dotted the landscape of Hunt County. Sometimes,
these communities were no more than a school, a general store, and a few
houses. Sometimes, they were thriving railroad communities.
Some still survive today. Others died long ago; some in a rush of
fire and some for reasons we still do not understand. As time permits,
each community will link to a page with more information about it, as well
as surnames being researched from that area.
