GOOD NEWS !!!!
I am always flustered when people ask
how to get to our website because the name is just too long and complex
to remember most of the time....sooooo, I have registered
navarrocountyhistory.com ! That name will take you to the
same page as
http://www.txgenweb6.org/txnavarro/ but is much easier to
remember !!!!
HIGH SCHOOL YEARBOOK SCANS
The High School yearbook scans are coming along nicely. We have
almost all of the Blooming Grove Yearbooks scanned now, just a few more
to go. Most of Frost is done and I hope to have the missing years
scanned shortly. You can check the progress of this project on the
page: Yearbook Scans Progress.
Thanks to Diane
Richards and Thressa Green for gathering these yearbooks for the
project. There are many more to come. I am putting the
Corsicana yearbooks off till after we get the small town books scanned
since we have most of the Corsicana volumes extracted already. I
should have some more Kerens, Dawson, Emhouse, and Rice yearboos ready
to scan after I finish up this batch of Blooming Grove.
Dana Stubb's photo
survey of the Oakwood Cemetery is also progressing well. She is sending
location, photos, and detailed info for dates and family with each
entry. This is only re-survey done on Oakwood in many years.
