William
E. Fitzgerald was the son of Nathan and Julia Ann Fitzgerald, who came to Texas
from Mississippi in 1870 and settled in the Oak Grove community south of Rice in
Navarro County. Will was a successful farmer in Rice for many years. He died
in 1937 and is buried with his wife, Mary Etta Campbell Fitzgerald in the
Rice

William E. Fitzgerald in 1889, reared their family in Rice, Texas,
died in 1954 and both are buried in the
