Hugh Decherd McAfee

Hugh Decherd McAfee was born on Feb 25, 1908 in Young Co., TX to Ira Decherd McAfee & Nancy Caroline "Nannie" (Ballew) McAfee.  He was the grandson of Hugh Embury McAfee & Elizabeth Rice "Bettie" Groves; great-grandson of Hugh McDuffie McAfee & Roseanna Toal.  He was married to Gladys Barnes (1907-1936) and Hazel Aline White (1908-1996). He was Professor Emeritus at University of Texas in Arlington.  Hugh Decherd McAfee died in Ft. Worth, TX on Jan 27, 1988.   His son, Don Michael McAfee, passed away on July 4th of 2005.
