Funeral Services Set Today For Eric and Kyle Richards

Joint funeral services for Kyle and Eric Richards, sons of Mr. & Mrs.
W. L. "Peb" Richards, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 12, in the First United Methodist Church in Blooming Grove.

Other details were pending Tuesday morning. Bradley Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.

The two youngsters drowned Monday afternoon while apparently playing on the thin ice that covered a stock tank near their home, on Highway 22 between Blooming Grove and Barry.

Eric was a second grade student at the Blooming Grove School and Kyle was in kindergarten.

Bradley Funeral Home ambulance answered the call about 2:30 p.m.
Monday. Justice of the Peace Joe Wilson pronounced the two youngsters dead at the scene.

Survivors, in addition to the boys' parents, include a sister, Mandy, and grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. W. J. Richards, and Mrs. J. W. Hinkle, all of the Blooming Grove area.
